The New Rockland Engine One was delivered on Thursday November 3rd. The engine is a 2011 E-One Typhoon with a 1500 gpm pump and holds 780 gallons of water. It has a hydraulic generator, carries the "Jaws of Life" rescue tools as well as an assortment of other firefighting and rescue tools. The bell, mounted on the front bumper, has some history, it was originally mounted on our 1941 Mack (Engine 2) and later on our 1972 Farrar (Engine 4 later renamed Engine 2). Engine One should be in-service within a couple of weeks after it is equipped and personnel trained.
