Two-alarm fire damages empty Rockland house

An abandoned house on Market Street was heavily damaged early Saturday by a fire, which quickly spread to two alarms.
There were no injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
Fire officials said tha call came in just after 1 a.m. for the fire at 260 Market St. in a wood single family home.
The building was empty and appeared to have been abandoned, fire officials said.
A second-alarm was called at 1:20 a.m.
Firefighters from  Abington, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Pembroke, Norwell, and Whitman responded.
The Massachusetts State Police Fire Marshall Office is conducting an investigation.
The all-out was at 6:28 a.m.
