Rockland Firefighters go Passionately Pink for October to support the fight against Breast Cancer

IAFF members are dedicated to saving lives – not just putting out fires and providing emergency medical care, but leveraging the stature of fire fighters and paramedics in communities across North America to reach out and help prevent and treat devastating diseases.

This October – in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – the IAFF is joining the mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure by helping to end breast cancer forever. The IAFF encourages affiliates to go Passionately Pink for the Cure by raising donations and awareness in their communities.

Rockland firefighters are showing their support by wearing pink shirts for the month of October.

The shirts are $15 each and all proceeds are being donated to the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure. They will also be available during our annual open house on October 29th.
